The Initiative called the My Eye Health Program is a community education program which has been developed to address the issues of eye health, intervention and rehabilitation.
The strength of this program comes from the partnership between The Royal Society for the Blind (RSB), the Freemasons Foundation, the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmology - South Australia (RANZCO) and the Sight for All Foundation (SFAF) who have banded together for the first time, making this education dream a reality.
The four Partners have a shared view on the need to educate the community with regard to the issues of eye health, intervention and rehabilitation, in order to enhance the quality of life of people living in South Australia and the Northern Territory.
With Partners such as the Freemasons the positive impact of the My Eye Health Program will be far reaching in the community, which is where the important messages of this program need to be. The Masonic community works quietly within the wider community, often sight unseen. Through the My Eye Health Program, there will be an opportunity for recognition within the community of the good works and goodwill of the Fraternity.
