Please be advised that the Facilities Manager’s office will be open daily between the hours of 11.00 AM to 7:00 PM for the collection of Regalia.   The Office Staff are unable to handle these queries due to the fact of not having the keys or being able to leave the reception area.

Lodge Umberumberka EC 2116 was established in October 1885 and in August 1886 moved into its own Lodge Rooms at Silverton NSW.   In February 1888 the Lodge was renamed Umberumberka No. 141 NSW Constitution and continued to meet at Silverton.  In 1906  meetings were transferred to Broken Hill.

On Saturday, 11th August 2018, WBro. Jaan Neps, (until recently a member of Adelaide Mark Lodge No.1), was presented with his Fifty Year Mark Service Jewel by the Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of South Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia, RWBro. Nick Vesotsky, in the company of several Brethren who attended the Nursing Home in Mount Barker where WBro. Neps resides.

On Saturday 4th August 2018 senior Brethren of Region 5 [SA and NT] of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for Australia gathered at the Marden Masonic Centre for the working of the Higher Degrees of the Rite. Brethren travelled from all parts of the Adelaide Metropolitan Area and from Darwin, Alice Springs and Whyalla.

On Monday 18th June 2018 the Assistant Grand Secretary VWBro. Dr. Richard Num PDGS, attended the meeting of the the Prince of Wales Lodge No.14 where he presented WBro. Paul Shillabeer O.S. with his Patent of Appointment as Representative of the Grand Lodge of  Grande Loja Maconica do Estado de Sao Paulo at or “near” our Grand Lodge.

WBro. Barry Newman was Advanced into Mark Masonry on 4th June 1963.  In July 2013, he was presented with his 50 Year Jewel by Brethren of Salisbury Mark Lodge No. 52 who made the journey to the Riverland to make the presentation.  He was attending the Installation of  Renmark Lodge No. 55 (Craft) at the time.

From 21st June 2018 to 25th June 2018, a Grand Lodge Team of Mark Master Masons travelled to Eyre Peninsula to conduct the annual lodge installations at Whyalla, Port Lincoln and Minnipa. The Grand Master, MWBro. David Kitching led the team which was one of the largest Grand Lodge teams to be seen on Eyre Peninsula for some years.

WBro. Ronald Frank Hewett PGP became eligible for his third bar to his 50 year jewel on 18th February 2018.   On the evening of the presentation earlier this year, the lodge was opened and closed in the first degree so that family and friends could be present to join in the excitement of the presentation.    WBro. Hewett PGP's bar for his 65 years of service, was presented to him by the District Grand Superintendent VWBro. Graeme Spafford.
