Michael Olive from the voluntary position of Grand Secretary, applications are now invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill this role.   As outlined in Regulation 13.6 The person must be a Freemason but, pursuant to Regulation 3.3, need not be an Installed Master

In recent months there has been a large volume of communications being made with the Grand Lodge Office, by way of email, letters, phone calls and other forms.   The vast majority of these communications could easily be resolved by reference to the Regulations and/or the Lodge Manual. One member is known to ring the Grand Lodge Office almost on a daily basis.

  On Saturday 25th August 2018, sixteen members of the Grand Mark Lodge team travelled to the Moonta Mark Lodge No. 2 for the sad occasion of the surrendering of its Warrant. The Deputy Grand Master, RWBro. Nick Vesotsky officiated at the Ceremony which was also attended by several visiting members from other Mark Lodges.

Please be advised that the Facilities Manager’s office will be open daily between the hours of 11.00 AM to 7:00 PM for the collection of Regalia.   The Office Staff are unable to handle these queries due to the fact of not having the keys or being able to leave the reception area.

Lodge Umberumberka EC 2116 was established in October 1885 and in August 1886 moved into its own Lodge Rooms at Silverton NSW.   In February 1888 the Lodge was renamed Umberumberka No. 141 NSW Constitution and continued to meet at Silverton.  In 1906  meetings were transferred to Broken Hill.

On Saturday, 11th August 2018, WBro. Jaan Neps, (until recently a member of Adelaide Mark Lodge No.1), was presented with his Fifty Year Mark Service Jewel by the Deputy Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of South Australia and the Northern Territory of Australia, RWBro. Nick Vesotsky, in the company of several Brethren who attended the Nursing Home in Mount Barker where WBro. Neps resides.

On Saturday 4th August 2018 senior Brethren of Region 5 [SA and NT] of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite for Australia gathered at the Marden Masonic Centre for the working of the Higher Degrees of the Rite. Brethren travelled from all parts of the Adelaide Metropolitan Area and from Darwin, Alice Springs and Whyalla.
