Salisbury Mark Lodge No 52 has a Twinning connection to Wallaroo-Burunga Mark Lodge which amalgamated with Moonta Mark Lodge No 2 a few years ago. A plan was conceived between a Past Master from Moonta Mark Lodge No 2,  who is now a member of Salisbury Mark Lodge No 52, and the current Worshipful Master of Moonta Mark Lodge No 2 to ‘lend’ a brother for an Advancement. This was not the first time that Salisbury Mark Lodge No 52 had supplied a brother for Advancement to Moonta Mark Lodge No 2, that occurred back in 2006.

On Monday 26th October 2015 seven brethren from Salisbury Mark Lodge No 52 travelled to Moonta Mark Lodge No 2 on the Yorke Peninsula to Advance Bro. Richard Burr, a Master Mason of Salisbury Lodge No 126 into Salisbury Mark Lodge No 52 with the brethren of Moonta Mark Lodge No 2.

The Lodge room was set, brethren had spent weeks learning their part in the story to ensure that it would be told in the best theatrical way possible.

The WM of Moonta Mark Lodge No 2, WBro. Rev. Trevor Briggs commented at the end of the evening that he had never seen two Past Mark Grand Wardens acting as Stewards and he thanked them for their participation and service for the evening.

The evening was a great success which was ‘capped off’ with the brethren of both Mark Lodges enjoying each other’s company at the festive board
