On Thursday 24th April 2014 the CEO RWBro. Peter Symons presented WBro. Arthur Mullins

with a Meritorious Service Award in recognition of his long association and commitment to Freemasonry.

WBro. Mullins was initiated in Lodge Kenilworth No. 178 on 10th May 1961 and has also been a member of the Mark, Mariners and Chapter throughout the years.

He is a current member of Hawthorn Lewis Daytime Lodge No.188 and still attends his Lodge when health permits.

He received his 50 year jewel in May 2011.  Arthur will reach the age of 100 on the 9th June this year.

The Worshipful Master of Hawthorn Lewis Daytime Lodge, Ross Anderson, also attended along with Arthur’s daughter, Iris and his son, Peter at his home address in Parkside to be part of this special occasion.

Arthur was totally surprised by the occasion and very humble in his response when he spoke fondly of his love of Freemasonry and the many friends he has made over the years.
