The Royal Arch Chapter congratulated Ex. Comp. Bro Arthur Mullins, Past 1st Asst G Sojourner, who had received his 50 year jewel from the First Grand Principal in November 2013.   Arthur was given best wishes on attaining this Jewel and was very much looking forward to celebrating his 100th brithdayy on 9th June 2014.  He was still a frequent and enthusiastic attendee at Hawthorn Royal Arch Chapter.

On Thursday 3rd of July 2014, at the Para Districts Masonic Centre, brethren and visitors witnessed WBro. Bill Penley PM, present WBro. Bruce Pitt, OAM, PSGD, with his second 5 year bar to his 50 year Veteran's Jewel for his 60 years of service to Freemasonry.   WBro. Bruce Pitt in his response to the assembled brethren thanked them for this honour but did not think he deserved it as “Freemasonry has given me much, much more than I have given it.”

  Meridian Rose Croix Sovereign Chapter No. 207   The word “Scottish” has nothing to do with Scotland.  It is the translation of the French work “Ecossais” from the Ecossais Degree.   Meridian Rose Croix Sovereign Chapter meets 3 times a year at North Terrace, Tyling at 10:30am.  (This is a Daylight Meeting which is very suitable for those who do not wish to drive at night and can use public transport.)
