Ceremony of Raising at Edwardstown Lodge No. 168

At the November regular meeting of the Edwardstown Lodge No. 168 officers of the Lodge conducted a near flawless ceremony of raising for Bro. Songaith Uy.

Lodge of Light makes Fifty Year Presentation at its Christmas 2017 meeting

At the Christmas meeting of the The Lodge of Light No. 11 held on Wednesday 13th December 2017 a Fifty Year Service Jewel was presented. Thirty eight brethren and wives attended in the supper room where the Worshipful Master, WBro. David Stokes and his lovely wife Rhonda had decorated the room appropriate for Christmas and catered with an enjoyable chicken meal. After the meal Jeaninne Randall, wife of WBro. Geoff Randall provided delightful organ music for the enjoyment of all present.

Fifty year Service Jewel Presentation at Combined Meeting

At a combined meeting of The Adelaide Lodge and Semaphore Lodge on Tuesday 21st November 2017, RWBro. David Crawford, PAGM, presented WBro. Donald W. C. Macaulay with his Fifty Year Service Jewel. WBro. Macaulay was Initiated in Mannum Lodge No. 97 in November 1967. In 1968 he became a Joining Member of Semaphore Lodge.

Three Generations in One Lodge

Lodge Copernicus No. 246 had a very significant moment in its history at its 3rd November 2017 meeting when Bro. Dominik Stankiewicz was Initiated, joining both his father WBro. Marcin Stankiewicz and his grandfather, Bro. Mirek Stankiewicz as the third generation of the family to become a member of the Lodge.

A happy band of Supreme Grand Chapter Officers from Adelaide and Naracoorte flew to Darwin for the Installation of the Excellent Principals and Officers of the Larrakeyah Royal Arch Chapter No. 40 which was held at Parap, Darwin on Sunday 22nd October 2017.

Gawler Mark Emergency Meeting

Gawler Mark Lodge No.14 was blessed with the proposition of a double Advancement for their September 2017 meeting but at the suggestion of RWBro. Bill Penley SGW, the Gawler Mark No. 14 brethren split the ceremony and held an emergency meeting on 6th October 2017 at the Ridgehaven Masonic Hall to enable Tea Tree Gully Mark Lodge No. 56 to participate in an Advancement ceremony, something they had not performed for some time.

The Travel Gavel

Eleven of the Best from Sir Douglas Mawson Lodge - Accompanied by their Worshipful Master, VWBro. Mike Morrison, attended the regular meeting of The Perfect Cube Lodge on Friday 3rd November 2017 and “liberated” the Travel Gavel. They are its Guardians. It is now residing, away from the “Riff Raff “of the craft, in a place of complete contentment.
