Masonic Charities $228,490.00 donation to the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association of SA

On behalf of all Freemasons throughout South Australia and the Northern Territory the Grand Master of Freemasons SA & NT MW Bro David Booker had much pleasure in officially handing over $228,490 towards the expansion of MND’s purpose built facilities in Mile End and in support all the hard work and initiatives being carried out by MND.

The Grand Master was pleased to learn that the expansion will not only benefit those in South Australia, but also extend into the Northern Territory through modern technology such as telehealth.

Freemasonry focuses on brotherly love, relief and truth and it is these principal tenets that resonate with MND’s mission to support and care for individuals who are experiencing what can only be described as a cruel and heartbreaking terminal illness for which there is no cure.

There is very little investment given to this debilitating disease from government and often it comes down to people living with MND, and their friends and families, to raise the funds needed.

Freemasons SA & NT are excited about MND SA’s growth that will benefit so many and the Grand Master wished MND every success in its endeavour to provide support and care for an increased number of individuals and families living with MND.
