Remembrance Day – 11 November 2019
The MW Grand Master intends to lead a group of Freemasons in Regalia, business suits with tie, service medals or masonic jewels, but not both, to the Cenotaph on North Terrace, to be part of the public gathering and to lay a wreath on 11th November 2019.
MW Bro Dr Jensen apologises to all Brethren for this late contact, as he was distracted by the election and then the Conference /Communication.
He further invites all Brethren to gather at 254 North Terrace at 10:15am for a short presentation and to proceed as a group to the Cenotaph, to attend the ceremony and return to North Terrace for light refreshments in the Sam Jacobs room.
The MW Grand Master emphasises that Brethren should treat this as a ceremony of great respect.
Districts are asked to consider doing the same strictly in accordance with the above, and District Grand Superintendents are asked to coordinate these activities.
Directors are asked to ensure that no banners, swords, or escorts of deacons are used, and that the youngest brethren lead.
